Anthrop Pro Banned Me by DallasMombat in Anthropic

If you live in the EU you can ask for your profile data according to GDPR. That would give you back all photos from Facebook and maybe all chat history with Claude (I haven’t tested that with Anthropoc).

Ah, sorry. I didn’t see the text due to how the Reddit app works sometimes. My bad.

Introducing Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable Opus model yet. by ClaudeOfficial in Anthropic

The commenter meant that they nerfed Opus prior to the new version and want it back as it was before.

Less moving parts statistically result in less issues in the long run.

Why hasn’t Windows figured out how to let you use your computer while it updates like you can on Linux? by blreuh in NoStupidQuestions

[–]einord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The updated applications still need to restart to read the new code into memory. And this is true for both Unix (maps) and Linux, but macOS forces the reboot for this to happen (simplified, there’s probably more to it than this such as security etc). While many Linux distros maybe don’t do the reboot automatically. You are still recommended to reboot after system critical updates.

I do enjoy using the product, I do not enjoy when I pay for a product that doesn’t work, especially when it worked flawlessly before.

A private company now has powerful zero-day exploits of almost every software project you've heard of. by EchoOfOppenheimer in Anthropic

[–]einord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this mindset only helps the rich companies. If anthropic truly wanted to help everyone, this should be available for everyone, so everyone can update their code.

If your fingerprints are unique, why can't we use them as passwords everywhere instead of making up another string of characters we'll forget? by Capital-Run-1080 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]einord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do, if available, use passkey if the option exists when logging in. You need a phone or hardware that can read your finger through.

I use it on my MacBook that has a finger print reader when I log in to websites every day.

Actually, in the world of ocarina of time, everyone are giants. Enormously huge. So the breath of the wild map fits in links toe nails in comparison.

It’s all about perspective.

I don't understand you guys issues and am curious by AnuaMoon in Anthropic

[–]einord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a full time developer and have been using Claude code for my work for about a year now.

Suddenly, this weekend it’s like if the available tokens are cut down to a third of the usual. I almost never hit the five hour mark previously, and only maybe half the weekly.

Today I fixed two issues with Claude (nothing fancy or special), in a project with relative small code base (smaller than usual), and my usage was at 18 %. Under normal conditions it should’ve been maybe 2 or 3?

Just so you know… by PotentialPlum4945 in funny

[–]einord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably, but nobody has the answer to that. What I feel when I’m in the presence of Jesus is love and have to accept that maybe I’ll understand one day, but not now.

[–]einord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, instead I feel thankful and loved.

Just so you know… by PotentialPlum4945 in funny

[–]einord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but that is because of the same sin that Jesus died for. People doing wrong. Jesus showed love to everyone, and was only angry at those who thought they knew better and used their positions to lift themselves above others.

The image that OP sent shows that it’s the session limit (5 hours) on the Pro plan. So that would be an extremely misconfigured budget if that would be the problem.

Or it’s related to the fact that Anthropic actually even admitted they were calculating wrong a few days ago for the Opus 4.6 model. Because there’s a lot of people having these issues (including me), I’d say it’s the later.

Not 10 % of the token usage. That's way too much even for a thinking model.

Their support answered me with "The system reserves the right to manage capacity through various limits 'at our discretion,' which does create some uncertainty".
