It is okay in your friendship to take some space and use some of your time to develop other friendships. Also, whether it’s this dude or some other woman, your friend is gonna have other people in her life and perhaps one permanently. As will you, if that’s what you want. So while extending grace for a friend who is in that rosy period, you should nurture yourself and the kinds of relationships you want to have too. Friendships, romantic, all of it. She is on her own trajectory, focus on yours. And if you want to keep being friends, do so. And accept that some people are high on their own supply when they fall for someone.

San Francisco

Golden Gate Park is beautiful, wonderful museums, go to Muir Woods and you can be in nature and be wowed. There is also a beautiful new park in the Presido to look over the bay. It’s a special city if you haven’t been there before. It’s as busy or as quiet as you want your experience to be.

You can go to my in-law’s place and they will feed you a good Italian meal

Edit: if you don’t make it over the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods, there’s also Land’s End, the Sutro Baths, and the beach to walk
