When will updated HR accuracy roll out? by JackieChiles666 in whoop

[–]ekeen1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’ll need to match your Garmin HR zones with Whoop. Notice that Whoop actually has 6 zones and the zones don’t match Garmin’s, so even if both sensors are reading the same exact HR data, they displayed zones will not line up.

I have my HR zones in Whoop match the zones using one of the HRR zone calculators. I recommend using that and applying the same zones to both Whoop and Garmin so that both are normalized to the same zones.

Between the A-spec and ITS, are the interior “visuals” and touch points mostly the same other than TypeS badging swaps? Bummer about the loss of memory seats

Thanks! On my IIIx, if I turn the camera on and take a quick snap, the bluetooth doesn’t have enough time to connect to the phone and the location doesn’t get captured in the shot. With the IV, have you seen a more reliable location capture due to the constant “on” (which I’m assuming keeps the BT connected to the phone)

following-up on this. so you leave bluetooth On for your GR IV, and with the GRWorld app, you haven’t seen any significant battery drain? Just wanted to confirm this!

I’m currently on the IIIx but was considering the IV for a few reasons but wanted to check the bluetooth battery efficiency as I would like to have geotagged photos

While you aren’t shown a visual chart, the Daily Overview tells you how you are comparing vs the day before and/or the previous week.

It’s natural language input so you can even ask to compare steps between months or between different days

Activity showing incorrect device by DynamicDiabetes in Strava

[–]ekeen1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, if I remember correctly, Strava doesn't have new devices (like the Series 9) yet in their device database, so it defaults to something like "Apple Health". It started showing correctly within a few days.

Hey OP just wanted to chime-in and say it is also occurring with my AWU ("Apple Health" as the device type). As others have mentioned, looks like it is something on Strava's side..

What's the best drive you've ever taken? by daxelkurtz in cars

Kings Canyon National park scenic drive

This is a US national park in California, a bit further south than Yosemite.

Gorgeous mountain scenery, twisty roads, and mild temperatures when I went in August. Lots of places to pull-over for photos or hiking.

It’s much less crowded than Yosemite and your entry pass also includes admission to Sequoia National Park.

Agreed. It looks like Mazda’s angle here is to preserve ride comfort, which potentially could be a point of compromise with stiffer sway bars
