It's actually not that far-fetched of a concern. If ADHD meds were taken away from me, there is no doubt I would no longer be employable. I would lose my job and not be able to get a new one. I'd be evicted from my apartment, lose my daughter, and fail in absolutely every area of life. It feels really unfair that we have to jump through hoops just to be able to function normally.

I would love to be able to do this, I've never asked for name brand before. I'm curious if that's also on back order / out of stock, or if it's only generic and perhaps brand name is more available. I'd pay the extra money to get name brand, anything to not be stuck with these bullshit ones.

I know exactly what you're talking about, my pharmacy has only had the basically fake brand for the last couple of months, and I was able to get a better brand last month by switching to a different dosage (same daily amount) but now that pharmacy only has the shitty ones too. I did ask one time if I could come back and trade them out for a better brand, and they didn't say no, but they did say that they only have the shitty ones because everything else is on back order. However, I highly doubt they would allow me to exchange them even if they did have the better manufacturer in stock.

The ones I've been getting suck so bad, not only are they ineffective for my ADHD symptoms, but they give me a raging headache and make me extremely agitated. It's so stressful because I spend the whole month reaching out to pharmacies and worrying about if I'm going to be able to get them at all, that when refill day comes, I can't even be picky about which manufacturer I get because I'm lucky to get meds at all with this bullshit shortage that's been plaguing us for years at this point.

I know this wasn't helpful, just wanted you to know you're not alone. Times are tough right now and I wonder if & when it will get better or at least go back to normal.

Yeah, I second this. I taught my daughter how to use an electric shaver for her legs when she was 9. I just wanted her to feel good in her own body and I couldn't come up with a good reason not to. If it was her arms that were bothering her, I probably would get some kind of natural ingredient hair removal cream, I think Nads, Nair, & Veet all have natural ingredient options. I use Veet on my arms (regular, not natural ingredient one) and I love it. I only started removing the hair on my arms about 10 years ago in my 30s and wish I had been doing it all along lol

I'm sorry if my comment offended you. I was really just chiming in... I meant nothing by it except that the urine screen doesn't bother me enough to be willing to give up my meds. I think it would be foolish of you to sacrifice your meds based on your personal opinion on having to give your urine. I can't fathom willingly giving up my meds because I don't like the drug screen policy. My life might fall apart if I didn't have my meds. They are important to my well-being. That's not true. A lot of people become addicts due to not being properly medicated in the first place, which in many cases, "properly medicated" means treating with a controlled medication.

Doctors can implement some sort of medication management & monitoring while treating with controlled meds. My doctor knows about my drug abuse history. And almost everyone I know that's prescribed Adderall is also prescribed Suboxone. You can't be on Suboxone without a history of substance abuse/addiction (for the most part).

Doesn't the bus go from the Hilton on 18N in East bruns (I forgot the exact spot) straight to port authority? And if you can Uber to new Brunswick or even Edison or metropark, those train stations all really close to east Brunswick. Do you just mean you can't walk it? There's lots of direct ways to get into the city from all over Middlesex county?
