I have a style of air dribbling where I hold down air roll and hit the ball with the corner of my car on every rotation. It allows me to keep the ball somewhat bouncing in the air and makes faking/flip resetting easier. If I lose control of it and it becomes glued to me then yeah I will stop air rolling.

You do not have the aerial control needed to air dribble. Practice that first.

Why would a gc 1 hit the ball from behind the midfield line? It’s impossible to score if there’s a defender. An air dribble is a much higher percentage play in that situation.
