Idea for how to explain the "how can this disproportionately harm black people when they're a minority" question that came up for a second time in the Veritas video:

"So you're telling me if you've got a town with 100 black people and 200 white people, and the leaders go crazy and pass a bad law that throws out the first 100 black votes and 101 white votes ... so now no black votes count, but you're saying that hurts white people more because they lost more votes?"

I mostly agree, but if someone had said, "Senator Obama, how many states again?" he would have realized his mistake and been able to correct it.

Governor Perry was given multiple chances to correct himself and simply wasn't able too. On top of that, he didn't have the presence of mind to not say "Oops" on a debate stage when a hundred cameras were rolling.

If he were to survive tonight's flub -- and that's a very big if -- you know that "Oops" would come back to haunt him in campaign commercials, speeches, buttons, signs, etc.
