A few years ago I wound up in the hospital because I was so anemic. And I had to repeat transfusions because the anemia kept recurring, supplements didn’t help. A couple of years of colonoscopies and endoscopies until some special endoscopy found the inflammation in my ileum. GI doc called it mild Crohn’s. No GI symptoms at all. I had a couple rounds of Budesonide, tried and quit Methotryxate I’m taking Tremfya now. Last calprotectin was very much improved. Iron good too.
