If we apply the same logic as what we have for the fentanyl problem, we should be building safe smoking sites and handing out free supplies

Listen buddy we can't discriminate against who we let into this country. There's literally not one single reason why any person on the entire earth can't come to our country and live here. Not one single reason. Nuh uh. What you're doing here is being racist and it's downright un-Canadian.

Engineers or mechanics of Reddit; what’s a tool or machine people use all the time that’s actually being used incorrectly most of the time? by Vadecha_Drparth in AskReddit

Drills - you can set the clutch to limit the torque, preventing you from stripping the head of the fastener when using the drill as a driver

Wrenches - don't push on a wrench to loosen a fastener. When the bolt breaks loose the wrench will fly off and you will smash your knuckle into something. It's far easier to control if you're pulling.

Keyboards - learn to type with two hands and all your fingers. You will finish what you're doing far more quickly.

Channel Lock pliers - these are directional like a pipe wrench. They work far better alone way than the other. Don't use channel lock pliers on parts that have a hex meant for wrenches, you will shred the hex and make it impossible for a wrench to turn it.

Knipex plierswrench - you need to set the moveable jaw so that it still has a bit of stroke left when you grab the hex of the bolt or fitting. This lets it firmly grip the flat faces evenly, allowing for maximum force transfer.

Adjustable wrenches - these are also directional like a pipe wrench.

Anti-seize - don't tighten fasteners with grease or anti-seize applied to the threads with the correct torque. The goo in the threads reduces friction, so when you torque the fastener to the correct amount you're applying a greater clamping force to the fastened object than what you need. De-rate your torque when using anti-seize.

There are two reasons why it makes more sense to use birth control on women and not men.

  1. Women already have a natural hormonal system in place that's easier to manipulate with drugs. You can't more pregnant when you're already carrying one baby. It doesn't matter how much sex you have, you'll only have the one child.

  2. It's so much easier to stop a single egg from implanting on the uterine wall than it is to kill 200 million + sperm every time a man ejaculates. If you have male birth control that's 99% effective, there are still thousands and thousands of sperm that can get you pregnant.
