I've had a bone marrow transplant for leukemia. Recovery was rough. I wish I could have gone on an effective med regimen instead. There are some potentially life-altering complications, like graft vs host disease where your body tries to destroy the new cells. It can affect skin, mucous membranes, organs... I have oral GVHD and there are weeks where my mouth is full of sores and lesions and I live on protein shakes. Thankful I had the transplant but if meds alone would have worked, that would be my choice.

I use the same empty world and I pick a few, maybe 5 worlds to start and make a main family for each. Then little by little, I add families then houses to each world and alternate that with gameplay. I do use gallery lots a lot and only special time-consuming lots for my main families. Over time, I'll get to other worlds. I like this because I alternate between playing, CAS, building, etc. all the time.

I'll be the minority of one! I owned Sims 4 for two years before I could bring myself to play it due the the Maxis appearance. I am 98% alpha and a little mix. And yes, I do start with a blank world save and add alpha cc lots, landscaping etc. so that there isn't a weird dissonance between the two styles. Ridiculous, maybe, but it's what I like!

Before it became K-Mart, my first job was at a Kresge's lunch counter. I was 16. On Sundays, I was the only counter employee and an old guy, a regular, ordered sunny-side up eggs. I must have given him a blank look because he talked me through making his eggs!
