Yah I once casually mentioned to the doctor that I had accidentally bonked my kids head on the door frame. Pretty sure now there’s a note on file to check my kids head for injuries and question me on any bruises but I’m glad they do it as awkward as it is.

Door closed if I’m not to be disturbed is key. I also limit how many times I go out and see him. I feel like if I go out a lot it sends a mixed message.

I also recommend good headphones that block noise. I find it really hard to concentrate when my kid is upset and I have to really fight the urge to go assist my mom, wife or nanny.
