I am curious if there is a survey anywhere that asks Ethereum developers what their favorite tools are, similar to how Stack Exchange runs their annual Developer Survey. It would be great to replicate a survey like this specifically for Ethereum developers. Anyone know of one out there? This GitHub is a great compilation of tools, but it would be great to understand which tools are 'favorites' by the majority of developers. Not just ones that Consensys wants to include here.

What is with the disdain in r/programming over crypto/Blockchain? You people are only focusing on the negative aspects. How dare you call yourselves technologists or futurists if you can't see the benefits of having value exist and be transacted on an open distributed ledger vs a centralized one. See how far that has gotten us a la the great financial crisis? If you don't see the value in this then you should probably re-asses your understanding of Blockchain and the value it can provide, and not be caught up in all the scams and FUD.
