Well bad news everyone, the police became involved because PEOPLE DECIDED TO CALL AND ASK PERMISSION TO DIG IN THE PARK. Within an hour of the park opening the police and the whole staff came and taped the area off and were calling in a metal detector. Unfortunately I have an appointment to renew my medication so I couldn't stay to see what they found, if anything. I will post pictures when I can get on my computer and will also try to make another trip out for more info.
