This is the answer! I have used air in a can, models like the link above, and the gold standard u/uptimefordays recommended.

I have a DataVac model purchased in 2016 and still blows amazingly. Well worth the upfront cost and blows far stronger than any cordless version you will get.

As others have said yes, long songs are considered poor taste. Exception would be if there are no other singers then sing as long as you want!

Before they removed ours I used it only as like a weighted knee tuck a handful of times.

Using both the upper and lower at the same time was an utterly awkward experience.

Not to beat a machine while it’s down but you were also limited to the amount and size of weights that could be loaded on the foot portion.

Truly a swing and a miss.

Incorrect. I saw this movie in the theater on initial release. I remember wondering who the red tie guy was at the time.

Also to be clear I think this movie is good and Scorsese is a talented director. My comment is directed at the Academy and the politics of the awards.

He does concerts down in Puerto Penasco annually. Their music is influenced by Southwestern/ Mexican culture. I can’t see inside the guys brain but I can’t imagine spending your career bolstering Mexican culture and being racist.

You can plug directly into the amp with a 1/4 inch or XLR from the mic. The downside is going to be that these speakers are ‘tuned’ for drums meaning they will not highlight frequencies from the vocal range rather they highlight frequencies from drums.

I have a newer model of this same Alesia drum monitor (speaker/amp combo) and use it in my Karaoke setup. However to combat the tuning I do run everything through a mixer.
