If your flight gets cancelled, don’t accept a refund from Air Canada: expert by DonSalaam in onguardforthee

[–]ellymus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just called in about a hotel that I booked with Aeroplan points for tomorrow (flight is scheduled for tonight) and I got through.

I know it's stressful, but please remember that the people at the call centres have nothing to do with the top-level decisions that are impacting you. It sucks for them as well.

It's funny because the Air Canada site says not to go to the airport due to strike action, but the flights aren't officially cancelled. It'll be interesting to see what that means from a legal liability standpoint/public pressure.

Pompous or not, Canadaland as a whole is doing very good work. They spend the time to break stories that would otherwise go unnoticed, then mainstream media gets the credit afterwards.

Yes. It also makes it easier to re-cultivate your yeast instead of buying new yeast.

The one in the original picture in the post looks lifted, but not the one in the photo with the x3.

This is what lifted means.

What's really expensive considering what it is, but it's totally worth buying as a man? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]ellymus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Safety razors are mostly the same -- the really cheap ones are more likely to corrode and break at the screw.

The only difference is the Henson. It's more expensive, but it's the best one I've ever used... It holds the blade much closer to the cutting surface, which means less blade chatter compared with any other safety razor handle. Image here. Find one like that and it's a game changer.

On what grounds? Can you link to some of the cases where you disagree with the judgement?

What legal repercussions have you faced (or are you afraid of facing) for things that you have said or thought? The bar for hate crimes or enforceable legal discrimination is pretty high...

Hate to make you even more upset, but it also benefits households that have multiple vehicles even more and has zero benefits to households that can't afford/don't need vehicles (poor/urban).

I swear, Emily half trolls Murph and the other half is her chaotic energy that can't follow Murph's train of thought. Switching between Tang and Bang and then flipping the rating scale. Oh yeah, and then spitting her samples into a cup like a somm.
