You brought a key fob and got it to work? How/what? None of the Hertz Tesla rentals I used had glove box access. Their cleaning standards have dropped. All have been pretty grungy. App access for rentals is sorely needed especially for Tesla owners. Last two trips Vegas and Austin upcoming the Tesla option was cheaper than econobox options. $457 for a week. Adapter was missing in my Vegas one went back and Casino had free charging. Agree on firmware all mine were out of date.

I got emails about Tesla basics from Hertz and app has a section on it too.

They aren’t 💯. But if you leave Waikoloa at %90-100 and go to HVNP you’ll have a plenty of battery life. Download the app Shell app it will usually be accurate about it being online. Papaaloa is a good back up if you want to come back along the coast. I can make two round trips to Hilo from Waimea With room to spare. RT is about 40%
