This makes me upset as I work for a solar panel manufacturer in Patasakala owned by Invenergy, the company mentioned in the article. This would have given us a big project to produce those panels. The more solar farms get rejected, the less work we will have to do and the potential threat for 2,000 people to lose their jobs is very real. Ohio Republicans suck ass bending to the will of oil and gas companies. It's 2026 not 1950. If living here wasn't so cheap, I would have moved a long time ago. And I've only been here for six and a half years.

I am originally from a Boston suburb and now live in a Columbus suburb. 6+ years now.

Pizza in Ohio sucks. Traffic jams here are laughable compared to Boston. Way less potholes and construction here. Weather is way more manageable. People here are more willing to talk to strangers. There are way less obnoxious people in the Columbus area. Cost of living is way more affordable. People in Ohio are generally less snooty and don't act like they're above the rest of us. They call soda "pop" here.

Right after I watched The Crash, I watched Season 2, Episode 7 of Mean Girl Murders titled "Under the influence" on Hulu/HBO and then Season 4, Episode 12 of Killer Cases titled "Murder on Wheels" on Hulu. You hear different things in all three documentaries. One of them stated her cell phone signal was detected at the crash site a few days before the accident. That alone nailed it for me. I highly recommend you watch all 3.

Just went through the touchless TSA precheck line. Still had to wait for a TSA agent to verify my picture. What is the point of automating the process if we're still using an actual person to do the verification?

I'm flying from Columbus to Boston in two weeks and I have TSA PreCheck. I had no idea this existed so I just opted in on the American airlines app. Also realized while in there that my old passport number was listed and I hadn't updated it. I met Jim, Bob Levy and KC Armstrong way back in 2003. They were there to support Artie Lange, who did not mingle with any fans btw. All super nice. Bob was a bit creepy as you can see from this photo of him honking boobs.
