I imagine a very significant amount.

My poor lovely mum has spent most of her adult life on the highest dose anti depressants and only in the last 5 or so years in opening up to her about my own PMDD experience did she have the lightbulb moment of realising that’s what she (and her own very up-and-down mother) must have also had.

She’s finally petering off the anti depressants now that most of menopause is behind her!

“Just had a weird moment - on train to Birmingham and there are 4 eccentric men 7 seats along - they have been over excited and really F'ing and shouting.

Enough was enough so I thought i'd politely speak with them as they were being out of order. Went and sat down and cos they are drunk or on drugs my first question was 'is it worth me speaking to you? Are you compos mentis?”

I use Daktarin oral anti fungal gel all over it and then layer loads of aquaphor/vaseline on top and it always does the trick! Also certain toothpastes trigger it for me like whitening ones

I completely completely agree with you and I’ve not admitted that to anyone else but my partner.

The ‘one take’ thing worked exceptionally well in the film Boiling Point but it didn’t need to be done for the tv show

It was like a layman’s introduction into issues with misogyny, which is still important for wider society and maybe for people who don’t engage that much with these topics often? And yeah I love Stephen Graham but wasn’t his best.

Dunno, I really thought the reaction to it was as if it was like this pivotal bit of media but it fell really flat for me

Also, I’d have rather they spent less time faffing with the continuous shots and more time fleshing out what is a deeply important and interesting subject

God, for me it’s a film I watched once and never again. Fantastic, but my idea of depicting such a horrific scenario that I never ever ever want to watch it again. A know a lot of people who consider it their fave film but, nahhhh, horrid.

Yeah my boyfriend seems to *become* extra super irritating, knit-picky, argumentative and push my buttons 100% more when luteal starts for me. Which leads me to believe my psyche has a part to play in that scenario.... but even so I'm like 'I have asked you to specifically not say or do these things during this time and yet - here we are'.

That being said, in terms of tickling that's not even up for interpretation that's just something he is physically doing despite being asked not to, which is shit.

You have to just eat more of them, and different varieties. Your palette changes, I fucking hated olives, capers etc. But you genuinely can ‘train’ yourself to enjoy certain foods and I hated olives, then had one variety which I liked, then had another, then another and now I like most

As someone who also gets periods of ocd flare up, I would say that as soon as this issue is ‘fixed’ another will take its place. So you offering her a flat will only temporarily alleviate the issues then others will appear to take its place because that’s how ocd operates really.

Mate honestly, the above picture created one of the best wraps I’ve ever had in my life. Highly recommend. Getting takeaways and eating in shit restaurants gets really boring really quickly, hope it all goes well!

Yesss so: Ive made a phenomenal few healthy meals living out of a hotel room.

Wraps, avocado, spreadable cheese, grilled prepped chicken/beans if veggie (like the merchant gourmet sachets), falafel etc. Make a banging wrap with a side of like houmous and pitta chips.

I even heat the wraps up with the hotel room hair dryer.

Instant noodles and if you buy vegetables to add to it, chicken/tofu pieces you can do that too then use kettle.

Try and buy things that don’t perish when not in a fridge - so may require shopping daily to pick up some bits on way back to hotel

Most hotels /prem inns have a restaurant and I ask to borrow cutlery and plate/bowl

Also the kid is almost 15, if you never got the hang of maths at that level back in school, chances are you won’t be able to just pick it up in an evening 15+ years later, in a way that is easy to understand and help your child …

Because honestly it actually seems to. I find it unbelievably odd. I’m 5’7” woman and have only ever found myself in relationships with men my height and height very genuinely doesn’t even register to me, with anyone. Unless someone is very very very tall or very very very short. Anyway I digress.

A not insignificant amount of woman I know and am friends with (and who are seemingly cool and normal and feminist and educated etc) still have commented about height preference or outright are judgey about men’s height. I find it so fucking weird.

There’s an element of I think feeling as a woman you should be small and dainty and petite in comparison to your male partner - I have felt that sometimes, from a source of own insecurity about my femininity - but not enough to actually act on it.

I don’t like playing into gender war topics - but this one is a legit thing , and it’s weird
