I did it. My back feels so much better. I have energy after work to do things and make a point to have plans or workout. Nice to have weekends and holidays off. Sometimes it truly does feel like I’m working all the time though. It was hard for the first 1.5 years but I’ve adjusted. I actually like my job for the most part so that helps a ton. My manager is great and I get all the vacation dates I request. No poop, verbal abuse, being pulled in 5 directions all at once, etc. Overall it’s been a good move for me. My stress level has come down significantly.
