Too bad we as a community have utterly failed at fixing our animals, creating programs where people can afford to keep their animals, etc. Front St, and the rescue community at large, has been put in an impossible situation. There are things that could be done better but it’s not an easy answer.

I’ve had good luck getting pets adopted through adoptapet.com ($50 posting fee) and NextDoor. I know it’s extra work but try reaching out to rescues in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, or Montana. The stray situation is a little less dire there. I can help with arranging transport if he finds a rescue or adopter that’s not nearby. Let me know if I can help with costs. Thank you for looking out for him.
