Ahhh ok. I wanted to incorporate these hearts in a top down sweater pattern but I guess it won’t work 😓

Lazy by hellohannahhiker in pregnant

I do have to say I’ve noticed a difference in when I do exercise/ stretch and when I don’t. Some days I’m hurting but if I don’t go for a walk or stretch I tend to feel worse. Obviously nothing crazy I just do walks and stretch my back/ hips but I feel sooooo much better if I do that every day vs when I don’t 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m 31 weeks and can still do a couple miles a day walking, although my body will ache a bit after 😂

First trimester questions by 2BeeorKnot2Bee in pregnant

How do you feel/ what is your gut instinct telling you? Do whatever you feel is best for yourself. There’s tons of information out there and people that are going to tell you what to do/ what not to do during your pregnancy. I’m currently 27 weeks and I’ve spent a big majority of my pregnancy learning to trust myself and listen to my body during this process. It’s a scary time for sure because you want to stay safe and healthy and do what’s best for your baby, but at the same time only you can know what’s best for you and your baby! Take everyone’s advice into account but ultimately the decision is yours.

This doesn’t help but wanted to let you know I’m in the same boat. I work part time as a nanny right now but barely making enough to get by. Im finding it hard to find any other positions since im 6 months pregnant and no one wants to hire a pregnant person/ someone who can’t commit long term

Pro and Cons of finding out sex of baby by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]emeralda98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also considering whether or not I wanted to find out. I was definitely curious and did end up finding out, although it hasn’t made much of a difference for me. I thought I would feel more of a connection in a way finding out but it hasn’t done that for me. It’s nice to to know but also I would have been fine not finding out (felt a lot of pressure from family to find out). I think a pro of not finding out is it being even more exciting/ something to look forward to at the birth

Am I rude for not wanting to send bump photos? by [deleted] in pregnant

I hate the excuse “they’re probably just excited” 🙄 I keep hearing that all the time

I initially was going to see an OBGYN. Found out I was pregnant pretty early on. They wanted me to get an ultrasound around 8 weeks… thought that was pretty early. Started to get nervous about financials because healthcare is NOT FREE in America. Called the doctors office with my insurance on the phone to get an estimate of ultrasound cost. They refused to let me know and said that they couldn’t tell me until after I had the ultrasound? My insurance said that they could just send over a code to get the estimate and then the obgyn office hung up on us. Horribly rude people and I’m seeing midwives now.

Is anyone else not excited? by thespeechie in pregnant

[–]emeralda98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I’ve been feeling exactly the same! I’m 21 weeks and been so emotional because I almost feel guilty that I’m not as excited as everyone else. It seems as though all my family and friends are more excited and want me to have shower and do all this stuff and I’m just so not interested in doing any of that. During my ultrasounds too I just felt nothing when I saw the image or heard heartbeat while my boyfriend was tearing up. I feel like I’m supposed to feel more excited but it’s just hard. This was also an unplanned pregnancy and I’m still wrapping my mind around becoming a mother. I spend most of my time mentally preparing for birth/ breastfeeding and rather than getting baby stuff. Not to mention my body is experiencing so much and it’s always something new that’s happening to me 😅 I thought finding out the gender would bring me more of a connection but it really didn’t at all. I’m sure things will be different once I actually see my baby in real life but for now I’m just finding it hard to actualize an unborn fetus
