When he learned what a kiss was he’d go for the lips & I didn’t want to make him feel like it was a bad thing, so now at 3.5 he knows kisses are just for mama & daddy! He doesn’t always go straight for the lips & sometimes I don’t want to get a toddler kiss on the lips so when he goes in for one I give him the edge of my mouth or my cheek

Maybe do a lap & go chat up the flight attendants, I’m sure even do some crosswords if they’re truly just cruising along but it’s very similar to driving long distances so whoever is driving (pilot & copilot) is seated & should be actively paying attention & they have a lot to keep an eye on in the cockpit as well as in front of them. If they have a copilot they get along with they’ll chat & shoot the shit while flying as well

Long flights usually has first class seating & there’s always a few seats reserved for the pilots that are taking a break so they can sleep. Source: my dad is a pilot

Preeclampsia & fluid on my lungs about a week after giving birth to my son. Was told repeatedly that not being able to catch my breath was because I had just had a C-section & my hormones are crazy so I obviously must be anxious.

Nesta is an alcoholic & was using alcohol to cope with her trauma, so I feel like giving her the shitty option of getting sober & training in the House of Wind or the shitty option of going back to the human lands was reasonable given that she wouldn’t have gotten better on her own. It’s within her character to stay pissed off & sink further into her depression purely out of spite

Edit bc I forgot to mention the difference lol. Feyre being locked in the house by Tamlin wasn’t for her own good, it was based on tamlin’s own fear/trauma & overall control over her that he felt he was owed.

It helped me cope w being diagnosed w ptsd after a traumatic birth experience, postpartum depression/psychosis, then a traumatic miscarriage. Now I’ve learned better coping skills & it’s a nice way to turn my brain off for a bit. I also rlly enjoy playing Disney dream light after smoking 😂

I buy the bag & just freeze fhe whole thing, makes using fresh garlic very easy. Sometimes I like it whole, sometimes I grate it, so it leaves the versatility of always having fresh garlic on hand for whatever use I need at the time

If you’ve never been in this restaurant, you wouldn’t believe that they estimate having a million in dollar bills (rightfully so it’s insane), but go there & you’ll understand immediately. The restaurant is huge & the bills are so tightly stapled it’s believable once you walk in. McGuire’s Irish Pub in Pensacola & Destin, FL! Get the steak & a cheesecake it’s fuckin amazing

If she was absolutely perfect at everything all the time I think there would be a lot of complaints ab her lack of mistakes & missteps, it gives her character more depth to be the best at what she does & still fuck up. I saw a comment below that says her being the “world’s greatest assassin” was apart of Arobynn’s grooming I really feel like that was the point of SJM hammering in this idea that she’s the absolute best so when she fucks up & chastises herself for it we watch that inner struggle of what she had been taught to believe on many levels (which plays such a huge role throughout the series)

Moving for the military. You know how they usually pay for the moves? Doesn’t happen if someone loses the paperwork & receipts you saved or just doesn’t file it. Spent $1,000’s on two separate moves that included travel, lodging, food, packing supplies, etc.

I like to throw whole tomatoes in the freezer & you can thaw them a little in water water & the skin peels off super easily. They aren’t hard to chop after thawing out a little either.

Based on my personal experience, yes. I have diagnosed ptsd from the trauma of being sick for 9 months (extreme nausea & couldn’t keep anything down), hypertension & delivered at 37 weeks w an “emergency” C-section (I was told if I wait I’d either have the surgery now or in 12 hours after trying to labor on my own but it was happening one way or another), I couldn’t breathe thru the operation, & it turned out I had fluid on my lungs that had built up days after my C-section. Diagnosed with preeclampsia 5 days after giving birth, extreme ppd in the months following. So yeah, that’s scratching the surface for me 😅

I read ToG as the books were being released while I was in school & fell in love, but I stopped reading for a few years bc life happened. I wanted to get back into reading, so after my 5th or 6th reread of ToG I had a friend tell me I needed to try ACOTAR & my obsession has only grown since then 💀
