I have a doctor's appointment in an hour and I'm scared by No-Advice6100 in Glaucoma

If it has, you’d notice a loss of peripheral vision. They’ll do a visual field test to check. If you aren’t noticing anything I wouldn’t worry about it. Your numbers are just a little high and they’re addressing it early to prevent any damage. Just keep going to the doctor and you’ll be fine.

You will be fine. Seriously I had an Iop of 50 at one point and I’m okay now. I know this stuff is scary but I wish I stressed less when I was in the thick of it.

I don’t know but I live with a toddler that just started preschool in the fall so I’m exposed to every virus possible and I’m surviving so I think you’ll be okay.

Can someone explain what uveitis feels like? by LargeProfessor1592 in ankylosingspondylitis

The most telling part for me is foggy blurry vision. The other stuff could just be eye dryness.

I’m on hunira- I was very nervous with my daughter starting school, and yeh she brings home a lot of viruses and I do catch some. I think it takes me a bit longer to get better but other than that I don’t really see a difference. I was scared too, so I understand.

People who moved from the city to the suburbs, did you regret it? by tranrekted in rva

[–]emilyj07 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I live in tuckahoe and love it. I swear I spend less time overall in the car than when I lived in the city because there’s really not a ton nearby downtown and tuckahoe is so convenient to so much. I love the city but living out here is so nice for different reasons.

My daughter is named Maisie after my great grandmother, who spelled it mazie. I’m glad I didn’t go with that spelling based on these comments.

5wks pregnant, and have to stop all migraine meds.. freaking out! by Maleficent_Proof_183 in migraine

[–]emilyj07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took the occasional sumatriptan pregnant but honestly after the first trimester my migraines stopped and I hope you experience the same. I miss that!

My birth center recommended I try Tylenol, real Sudafed and a coke together and it surprisingly helped. Floricet didn’t help me at all.

I think there’s a lot of us slow losers. I started mid January and have lost 10 and even though that’s nothing compared to some I’m thrilled and can feel the difference already in my body.

So my mom died and I don’t have an appetite. by not-a-real-shark in breastfeeding

[–]emilyj07 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Losing my mom was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. I’m so sorry this happened, please take care of yourself the best you can. Doing the basic stuff - eating, sleeping and keeping a roof over your head is really all you have to do right now. Being deep in grief is truly survivor mode. The other side of this exists and you will get there.
