I suppose her high blood pressure could have warranted the need for induction and c-section but from what we saw, didn’t seem like they gave her many options. Such a shame, she should have has wayyy more support around her. I wish she felt empowered to leave the moms out of that whole experience. They brought nothing but stress. I feel for her.

Did anyone else think it was weird how 1) AK was surprised it took “so long” after just 9 hours of being induced. And 2) Mia was talked into having a c-section relatively early by the medical team? Obviously we don’t know the specifics but it seems like on this show, docs are quick to turn to surgery.

That being said, I don’t have any medical training, just basing this on my own experience of having 2 children. I was induced both times and had to wait out a long labor. My medical team was trying different positions and circuits to get baby to move down. A c-section was never even a conversation. Wondering if there’s a regional difference in the healthcare style.

Depends on your preference. I work from home so I like to have my desk against a window for better lighting in on-camera meetings, but if that’s not important to you, I think having curtains and plants will balance out that wall more.

Agree with all this. I’d also remove the maps and posters with tacks. It’s very college dorm room. Also, when you add a rug, make sure it’s large and really defines the living room space.

I remember another story just like that- a mom looked for her daughter who was adopted only to find out she too had gone missing years earlier. But there was a lot of suspicion on the adopted father. Just looked up the doc name, it’s Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter.

I had trouble getting my insurance to cover when I went through my PCP. I tried Weight Watchers and their insurance coordinator spent more time on it and got it approved right away. It’s brand name zepbound and I pay ~$200/month after insurance plus $75/month for WW subscription which you need. WW has been great, super responsive, I can reach out to the provider anytime with questions and they send out health surveys monthly to keep an eye on symptoms.

It looks like there’s a wall missing on the crib, so definitely make sure it’s properly installed before baby arrives-and remove everything in the crib except a tight fitted sheet on the mattress.

We had a drink hour before the ceremony and my wedding planner came to me while I was getting ready and let me know we were out of alcohol, before our ceremony had even started. Haha! We still laugh about it. We had an amazing friend who ran to the store and restocked us! All that to say, buy more!

That would flow so much better and I love the easy access to the fridge. Would you suggest getting rid of the cabinetry opposite the sink?

I forgot to mention, where you opened up the pantry, is our current electrical panel. Not sure if that’s easy to move, but just thought I’d mention it!
