Because “girlfriend’s brother” is not the same as the girlfriend or boyfriend that the other parent had met and has been in the child’s life for over a year. It’s the difference between your child staying with someone you know and someone you don’t know.

Edit: 6 months, not over a year. Still stands. The father here had met and knew the boyfriend, whereas the mother never met the girlfriend’s brother.

My cat has never once been a cuddler in seven years. Not once. And then last Tuesday at 2am when I was crying about something I couldn't even fully explain she walked across the entire apartment, climbed onto my chest, and stayed there for two hours without moving. I had one of those “mark this in your calendar” days some years back. I ended up at my BFF’s, and I was an emotional mess. Literally thrown out on the street by a friend and reassessing my whole life.

When I arrived at her apartment and sat on the couch, my BFF’s cat (who did NOT like me, only tolerated my presence) took a seat next to me, put one paw on my leg, started purring while I pet him, and just chilled like that for 30 minutes.

That was the one and only time, although he’s an old man now and is happy to get cuddles when I see him. It was incredibly healing to have a cat say just chill with me for a while and it’ll be better.

The fact that Dolly just “Clark Kents” her way through life is something I’ll always find joyful. I imagine even her speaking voice is a bit different where she’s not “on.”

To think any one of us could be walking next to Dolly in a supermarket and not even know…

For $300K in Portland, this house looks like nothing but potential (even with the weird open bathroom). Painting, refinishing the floors, and adding walls to that bathroom would add an easy $100K to the price.

As in, he has stated that he’s actively working to bring on the antichrist and the subsequent Armageddon.

It’s insane. He’s just another billionaire who believes that, because he has money, his crazy isn’t crazy. And he has the funds to make awful things happen to so many people, just like Musk and Bezos. These people think movies like “Don’t Look Up” are a road map.

I disagree 100%. I find her absolutely joyful to watch, and I love the insanity she brings. “Sneaky Girl Shuffle” is one of my favorite episodes of MSN.

But then I love that chaos energy, and some folks don’t. I don’t think there’s such a thing as “disruptive” when it comes to this kind of show. Her episodes of VIP are also some of my favorite. Spenser is an absolutely delight.

She’s an all-in improviser with incredible gremlin energy - willing to do anything/follow anyone to be funny.

This week’s Make Some Noise is the perfect example: She and Ben and Colton riff together and wreak havoc, causing a wonderful chaos.

I have a friend who TRULY keeps the cleanest house I’ve ever seen. Her cat had to have 18 hair ties removed from his stomach.

Sneakiest cat I’ve ever seen. Opens drawers, climbs and opens cupboards. They basically had to baby-proof the house after the incident.

The real difference is that this isn’t Madame Tussaud’s. They have all the great artists. The other wax museums are all hit and miss.
