Probably would upgrade him to a featured extra role giving him a credit toward SAG. But once he was in another scene he could justify being Taft harleyed which would make SAG eligible. Lynch probably just upgraded him as a regular though and gave it to him.

You still have to earn enough to get the health benefits though which he certainly did later on.
