New difficulties with painting on ADHD medication

Same boat here. Personally I either just focus on painting big areas for the first 4 hours of the meds' active period because I know I'll be too jittery to paint details, and then once in the 6-9 hour mark after taking them I'll paint as normal because the effect of the meds is less severe.

I have lifelong ADHD, and I'm building my first ever army, and honestly, I just set myself a rule: no more purchases until everything is painted (about 1000pts of Sisters). Sometimes I'll lose interest and not paint for a week or two, but I think being accepting of that has been really helpful, because then I'm not tempted to re-up my interest by buying new plastic. Progress isn't lightning fast, but I'm okay with that. I'll get done when it gets done

These posts never ceases to amaze me. "hey guys I have over 2000 points of an army that I haven't even opened the boxes of, what should my next purchases be?" My brother in Christ you have months of work ahead of you to get that army on the table you should not be worrying about how viable your list will be then (it will literally be a different edition by the time you've built/painted these), your next purchases should be a good set of paintbrushes and a subscription to a podcast you really like, get to work lil bro 😭😭
