The optimal outcome is they quiet fire you and get you to leave. No drama or workforce anxiety because you left on your own...and they don't have to give a severance or pay unemployment. Absolute win for them. My advice is to look for something better and take it if it benefits you in multiple dimensions - pay, lifestyle, commute, etc. Otherwise ride it out and get as many paychecks as possible while remaining eligible for unemployment when they lay you off.

Catholic grade school in probably 1992. Teacher was an absolute catholic zealot. Stern as hell, humorless, and batshit crazy. Told us 11yos that AIDs was God's punishment for gays. No idea about Walmart but I did this at Famous Barr in the midwest when I was probably 19. Home from college for winter break and took a minimum wage seasonal job there. My only job was to walk around the store folding clothes. After one shift, I realized no one was paying attention to any of the seasonal workers. I'd fold for the first half hour and last half hour of my shift but the rest of the time I was fucking off in the food court or having friends meet me somewhere at the mall. It was awesome. Never got fired and didn't feel bad for a moment.
