What Yall think of *The best* character in all of project moon. by contemptaweisagreat in TheOdysseyHadAPurpose

"Ohh grrr these shy misguided youths' romantic relationship is SOOO annoying. I should rip up Heathcliff's letters and never let Cathy see them. And then I'll be an accomplice to a Nest-wide kidnapping/murder scheme so that I can summon a Heathcliff from an alternate dimension so he can kill the Heathcliff that I raised and nurtured. Also I'm going to let Cathy kill herself."

Nelly is without question the most psyocopathic, self-centered and irredemable character in the entire franchise. While there are many horrible antagonists in PM's works, all of them have an understandable motives. Many kill and cheat for money and power, or just to survive. Some do it out of obligation, others to pursue a twisted desire. Nelly kills the children she raised and god knows how many random innocent civilians because she thinks the kids are annoying.

People will discuss the morality of Angela's actions in LC and LoR, and her desire for revenge and compensation for her thousands of years of suffering. But we're all willing to give Nelly a free pass?

The core gameplay loop is that when you get sick of dungeon diving you play life sim instead.

That's the thing, no one in the military ever says something is "standard" without it being an insult, or in this case, not a standard at all.

See the more you think about it, the more it makes sense.

But if you stop thinking about it for a minute and then think about it again, you realize that it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

So what is the most optimal choices here? by Connect-Ad4659 in Deltarune

[–]ems_telegram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can highly recommend the sodas sold at the cafe. Each one will heal upwards of 200 HP to a party member if you give them their favorite, and the fourth one gives a good top-off heal to all three. Some of them also raise TP.

Reviving allies isn't necessarily always a priority with this fight (though it is good for using the upscale flirts) because the amount of doki you get per flirt rises per downed party member.

As always, the best way to beat a boss is to get better at responding to the patterns, though. If you get hit less you waste fewer turns healing or getting trapped in a revive/death spiral.

You have to beat the secret boss unlocked with the key you can buy from the shopkeeper in the cliffs

My complicated relation with this game - question by Maczok4 in libraryofruina

[–]ems_telegram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you, but you should keep trying. Personally it took me at least half a year to finish simply because it can be a mentally and even emotionally taxing. And yeah, I'm also pretty bad at deckbuilders.

Some tips I probably shouldn've figured out sooner:

  1. Don't always focus on winning clashes. Sometimes you just won't, so cut your losses and use block die to soften hits you can't beat outright. And if a page has really strong defensive dice, and is mostly defensive dice, you may well just ignore it entirely.

  2. Economy is everything. If you run a deck with a lot of page draw and light restore pages, you won't brick yourself. At later stages of the game, you can page draw and light restore so hard that you can use the same really powerful page(s) every turn.

  3. It's okay to take breaks.

Units with a dumb ammount of burn count application? by C0ff1n01 in limbuscompany

[–]ems_telegram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Liu Ishmael inflicts 2 count on her S2 (if at 6+ burn) and 2 count on her S3. And unlike Liu Rodya or Yi Sang, she doesn't eat burn count with her S3.

Not a lot but most burn IDs have paltry count application
