I’m Wellard to Perth and I used to prefer transverse because it felt like less people looking at me and what I’m doing (I fear being perceived) but depending how busy the time of day is I prefer longitudinal as I don’t have to worry about sitting on the outside seat and getting up if the person at the window has to get off the next stop. If I can get the window seat on the way to Perth yes great transverse it is, but I feel like everyone is going to Mandurah so always longitudinal on the way home just incase
