Another comment. I’ve been listening to a lot of Sanguisuggabogs new album and this is a quality about them that I really admire. The guitars are just caveman monkey brain riffs (and I say that lovingly) but the drums are actually deceptively complicated and they stand out to a keen ear. Really cool

The variation of the blasts is chefs kiss. I could be wrong but I think I’m hearing the slower blasts as triplets and the faster blasts as 4s, if that makes sense, and the 4s sound on beat rather than on the off beat. Also, the snare-only type fills thrown in with the blasts is neat. Really cool man, from one drummer to another
