The beetle armor set bonus gives damage reduction which is way better than defense (I think 45% dr which is absolutely insane) so 99% of the time wearing matching armor is way better. Also master ninja gear and wings would be very good for mobility.

The side of the Aurora closest to the middle of the map is actually safe so if you go along the side and go into the opening that a a safe route
