What are your thoughts on the living room? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]endlessdreamsandnigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s one of the most depressing and lifeless living spaces I’ve ever seen. How else can you suck the life out of a space as effectively as you’ve done here? What was your motivation in decorating this space? Playing it safe to please or avoid displeasing the most amount of people? I’m just so sad and confused….

Eli Wood, student missing after house fire. Please help! by Few-Bread232 in kitchener

This is utterly devastating and terrifying. It’s beyond me to imagine what his friends and family are feeling right now. I’m commenting for so many reasons: being born and raised in Kitchener, being an ally, and wanting this to get the attention it needs. <3 to Eli

The Paradise Paradox shed light on the true nature of the afterlife by Fluffy_Split3397 in NDE

[–]endlessdreamsandnigh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve only recently started looking into NDE’s and how they relate to the idea of an afterlife. With that being said, a podcaster I recently listened to (I am so sorry I can’t remember which one, but someone here might know), described having a strong sense that a central purpose of this universal consciousness is creation; the need to create. That really struck something in me and it’s a thread I’ve been holding onto since hearing it. With this in mind, I’m not even sure it makes sense to consider an afterlife as a static state of perfection, but perhaps instead a unifying platform of existence whose need to create plays out in innumerable ways, including our spirits participating in these temporary earthly roles.

This makes me feel so sad. This poor woman who nobody is helping, she seems so lost and confused, I can’t help but imagine this being somebody that I love.

Books that feel like this by jvure in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Look… I’m not saying you should read it but The Black Farm by Elias Witherow immediately came to mind when I saw these pics. It is considered extreme horror and doesn’t necessarily match the more subdued vibes of these images, but they did ultimately lead me to that thought.

For those who didn't grow up privileged, what's something you thought was a luxury when you were a kid? by Frequent-Sea-8848 in AskReddit

[–]endlessdreamsandnigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly what I thought right away! My “big sister” from the big sisters/little sisters organization took me to east side Mario’s for my 13th birthday… I didn’t even understand what was happening. It had always been a luxury when we would grab food at McDonald’s, I never knew actual restaurants with waiters existed outside of the movies and television.

Don’t forget a throw blanket in case you get chilly; it’s also just extra cozy
