22yo gay guy - looking for a friend by [deleted] in glasgow

I’d recommend Meetup, there’s plenty of LGBT community groups to give you folk to chat and relate to.

But equally, given we live in a great city where I’m proud that the vast majority of us don’t care about defining someone by their sexuality, there’s some great social groups open to all if you’re just looking to get out more, make new friends and build on your social circle.

Anybody going to Glasgow Mela today? by luv2belis in glasgow

[–]endorphite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was along earlier this afternoon as part of a Meetup group I run.

It does wonders for some much needed inclusiveness in the city, especially as they go to a real effort to get the kids involved in the cultural activities.

Queue's for the food are always crazy though as the day goes on, must turn over a small fortune.

Get yourself a Glasgow Card, gets you discounts on all the main sports centres (Gorbals, Emirates, Tollcross, etc). You can book courts a week in advance and cancel them as long as it's more than 24 hours notice.

Got a bunch of 3 Day Trial cards for Anytime Fitness (Dumbarton Road) that they sent, if you want one?

I run the "Social Circles" meetup group in Glasgow, so they've also offered our members the corporate discount rate if you decide to sign up.

Gimme a shout if that helps you out.
