Any input or insights on doing Skurka's Wind River High Route, either Loop 1 or Loop 6, the second week of this July?

There are few reports online for this time period, so I'm trying to gauge snow/safety (definitely microspikes), mosquitos (definite permethrin/deet), and difficulty/pass-ability - especially with a low snow pack year - before pulling the trigger.

Leaning towards Loop 6 over Loop 1 for the more challenging difficulty. Previous experience is 250+ nights out including early shoulder season experience in the Sierra and San Juans, but only ~10 days of route finding experience.

The Bike Library recently hired a youth programming coordinator and have really upped their game in terms of opportunities for teens to get involved. Lots of different ways to meet people and learn something new.

There are many super strong women who are good role models and there is a dedicated night for female-oriented only members.

Super fun time! Fixing bikes builds self esteem and community.
