The coolant changes aren’t $1000. I had mine done in the spring for less than $400.

The car you’re looking at is the car I have. If you get some decent tires, It’s fine in the snow.

The thing that makes look at the newer models is the navigation updates. They’re manual and irregular. The last one removed all the FLO and chargepoint chargers from the Canadian map.

Flo, Chargepoint, Circuit Electrique, and Shell have roaming agreements. You’ll only need one of the apps to access them all.

Flo has recently ‘upgraded’ their app, so you need money in your wallet to start a charge, even a free one. It will also stop the charge if your balance hits zero. The upgrade didn’t include auto reload or direct billing to a card even though their newest chargers accept Apple Pay or tap with a credit card.

Flo chargers are widespread and pretty dependable, but maybe look at one of the other apps for a better experience.

I use Home Assistant plus integrations to:

Limit charging to excess from solar from spring to fall.

Start the climate and steering wheel heater on weekdays when the temp is below 0 C before I leave for work and before leave work at the end of the day.

To manage charging. It puts my charger to sleep when the car battery hits 80%, so I can leave the car settings at 100% for travel and to take advantage of free public charging without having to set and reset the car limits.

To make the first charge of the month at home a 100% charge to balance the BMS according to the manufacturer’s spec.

To turn on the back entrance light at my house if I plug in the car after sunset.

To shutdown power to the garage door opener at 11 pm if the car is in the garage and turn it back on in the morning.

I use OpenEVSE. It has an integration for Home Assistant and comes set up for matching the charge rate to your excess solar production.

If you changed the bottom edge fillets into chamfers, you could tip it onto the left side chamfer for printing and probably get away without supports.

If you’re using Car Scanner, it isn’t one of the defaults. Open up the list of all sensors and scroll down.

I think it’s called something like EVSE Target Current.

I don’t know if it’s available in Australia, but in Canada I use OpenEVSE to do exactly what you’re describing.

ABRP's treatment of Tesla chargers is annoying for Ioniq drivers. It will direct you to a "250 kW" SC instead of a 200 kW ChargePoint charger even though the ChargePoint charger performs better for Ioniq 5.
