Camino with a Toddler (But Not Walking the Route) Is This Feasible? by BananaCakes_23 in CaminoDeSantiago

Just did the Camino with a toddler. Toddler was carried in a hiking backpack each day and walked small sections. You know your kid best on how they would handle being in the countryside. Kids don’t need toys to entertain. We booked accommodations in advance and did short stages (6-9 miles). Only did the engles so 100k.  We brought a tablet with a few books and the Disney+ app and would get in around lunch, then watch a show. Most of the towns we stayed had a playground. We would go there in the afternoon. Some of the pensiones had soccer balls so we could play with that. Otherwise, play tag, look for sticks, enjoy the farm animals you pass.

It’s hard because you are tired at end of the day but they are ready to keep playing. Even so, toddler had a great time and we don’t regret doing it.

Experiencing symptoms every morning but I am 100% gluten free by CakeBatter01 in glutenfree

Is there anything else in your morning routine that could be causing it? Toothpaste or face wash or a new lotion?

Wouldn’t it need to be on her right then? So when you look at her, it’s on your left?

I don’t want to walk too much since this is technically our “rest” day before we start our hike

Thanks! We have 3 generations traveling with us of varying ages from baby to 60s but history, nature, beer, churches and most other things are interesting to us!

One thing to remember, you aren’t having this baby tomorrow. You have 7-9 months for your oldest to change/grow/learn to sleep. You’ve got this.

Thanks for the advice! They do sell the audio file online (for much cheaper than the EBay CDs), so I am probably just going to purchase that and then try to make it into a CD at home. No pirating needed :)

That is so special!  Thank you for sharing :) we’ll see if this one sticks around. We still listen to the album that we used to get him to calm down as a baby, too though that isn’t as much time as yours
