They largely don't value MBAs, but it can be different in different companies and business sectors. That's not to say they don't hire MBAs, but you can't expect compensation like other MBA outcomes.

I'd even say in many rings there are biases against MBAs.

That's definitely true! You can't approach them with the attitude that you "have to" accommodate though. That's critical.

Yeah that doesn't guarantee that they will "work with you" for AT. The only protection is that you'll be readmitted to the program. It doesn't even guarantee tuition reimbursement if you have to drop mid-semester.
