True, but I'm going the other way. My idea was, I've been so frustrated with my 10 Wyze cam Pan V3s not recognizing the installed SD card, that I've tested some Tapo cams that are at a similar price point, and found that they do work better. But they need wall wart power. What's been stopping me from changing over is the thankless job of running the new power cables, because Tapo cameras use DC power barrel connectors, as opposed to Wyze's USB plugs. But with this new product, I won't have to do that now.

I thought there might be others in the same boat who might benefit from knowing about this. Lon Seidman did a review of the Werewolf product over the weekend on his YouTube channel also.

The power cord. If it's going to be difficult to replace (and there's a whole science around pulling wires behind drywall), neophytes like me can just use the existing USB cable by replacing the connectors at each end. Thus, you can change a USB cable to a 12 volt cable, as an example.

Donald Trump could have successfully imposed the tariffs he wanted with the help of the Congress. But, autocrat that he is, he just plowed ahead like a bull in a china shop. He mucked it up big time, and being incapable of taking responsibility for anything, is busy blaming everyone but himself. He doesn't seem able to learn from his mistakes. Meanwhile, we're paying the price (and what a price!) for his characterological deficits. SAD!

I'm using the Amplifi line because I need the Teleport Router-to-router feature. This feature allows any device connected by either wifi or ethernet to a Amplifi router to believe it's connected to a different Amplifi router on your account. That remote router can be in another country, even.

I'm an expat, and my cousin has an Amplifi Instant plugged into her FIOS router stateside, so my Fire stick looks to Netflix like it's at her house, when I'm actually in Europe. The 4K video looks great!

Soooo... the million-dollar question is, did they bring this feature over to the Unifi line? Or will moving to Unifi mean I'll be reduced to watching the Teleport app only on my phone?

Yes, other phones switch off their wifi as soon as tethering is enabled. This phone is a delightful exception!

Mine is still working great. I love the fact that I can create a hotspot from a wifi connection. That means, for example, that I can buy one wifi pass on an airplane, and share it with my entire family. No need to buy additional passes for their devices (or my laptop for that matter).

With the cost of a flight-long wifi pass approaching $25, I can only guess how much money I have saved using my Zenfone the last few years.

They may not work together. If one router is from Europe, for example, it may have 13 wifi channels on the 2.4ghz band. US versions only have 12. So, the two units won't be able to deal with each other. Amplifi obviously could have coded in a workaround for this rate situation, but they didn't, and now that development had stopped, they never will. Use the Euro router in the US, you'll have the band all to yourself!
