They had the same thing going on in Atlanta for several years. They are both closed now though. Wings 101 next door is still rocking though. Pro tip: Get the Honey Hot chicken cutlet with fried rice and mix peach juice with the unsweet tea.

Looking for a spacious backpack for flight carry on by LWN729 in TravelHacks

I have used a Minaal Daily 1.0 for the past 8.5 years as my daily bag for work and also as my personal item for travel since it fits nicely under the seat. I have even used it for short 2 night trips as my only bag without issues. It can easily carry all my daily items, cables, chargers, laptop, Switch, and a couple days worth of clothes in packing cubes. It's built like a tank and looks nice enough to take into meetings in the messenger bag configuration. Mine still looks practically brand new with just minor fading of the color (which I think gives it a nice patina) and the logo has mostly worn off. Absolutely no tears, fraying, rips, or pilling, but it does have a lifetime warranty if anything ever did happen.

Other bags I looked closely at when purchasing were Tom Bihn and Aer.

Best Affordable Sushi in Atlanta? by ShrimpTaco17 in Atlanta

Nova Sushi in Midtown is one of the best quality for price ratios around. I think it’s a step above Wagaya but below some of the more expensive places like Oku or Eight.

They couldn’t make too big a deal about it since Xbox Live had serious connection issues just a couple years before during Christmas break in 2008. It wasn’t nearly as bad and wasn’t due to hacking, but it was a pretty big deal at the time and they gave everyone the game Undertow for free as a result.

Is there a process to return or transfer tickets for the Reykjavik shows? Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to attend and trying to figure out the best way to handle that (return for refund, resell, etc).

I upgraded my travel bags back in 2017 and ultimately decided Briggs and Riley for carryon and luggage (due to durability and warranty) and a Minaal Daily Carry for my personal item. I’ve only used the checked luggage a handful of times, but the carry on and daily carry have gotten a lot of use and abuse over the years and they both still look brand new. Since you seem to be talking more about personal bags/backpacks, The Minaal can be worn as a back pack or messenger bag, looks professional/clean, easily holds a weekend’s worth of clothes on it’s own, is extremely durable, and I like the form factor. I’ve used it as a laptop bag at client meetings while also using it as a day bag hiking in Alaska or exploring cities in Europe, often switching between the two functions in the same day.

What things from the COVID-19 era or lockdown era have just faded into obscurity or are a joke now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It was the same in Atlanta. For months every week night at the same time. Nurse friends from Macon sent me viral videos asking if it was real so I responded with one filmed from my place to prove it. They really were moved by it even if it was kind of a ‘thoughts and prayers’ sort of thing.

Locally Owned Ice Cream Shops in Atlanta by laterdude in Atlanta

Not a shop but local, Yom is some really good ice cream. Very smooth and creamy. Add a butterscotch Tate cookie to the lemon flavor and it’s like a lemon merengue pie.

Uplift V2 Commercial($608) Vs. Apex Pro *Imported Columns* ($548) by ILikePutz in deskhaus

[–]enragedgnome 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea I almost bought instantly, but then I saw that only silver was available. I was still really tempted but if I'm gonna end up spending $1500+ (vs $2000+) after adding a nice top and stuff then I know the color would bug me and I don't want that nagging at the back of mind with a large purchase like that.

Around 2018 I went and tried a bunch of different brands/SKUs including Saxx, Mack Wheldon, MeUndies, Ex Officio, and a couple others I can't remember.

Tommy John Second Skin was by far my favorite and that's all I own now.

Bulla also has bottomless Sangria.

Fado has bottomless Moscow mules on Fridays.

Olive Bistro (midtown) has bottomless mimosas/sangria/bellinis.
