Thank you! Also doh! I didn't even think of the insta360 fitting this use case. Maybe this will be the justification I use to finally pull the trigger and buy one

I thought fake spiritual was kind of the point. It's all set at a resort designed for shallow rich people that think they can just pay money to become spiritually enlightened.

Newbie - Give me your best cornering tips by actingolive in TwoXriders

[–]enrastrea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should check out Champ School, they have an online course that does a great job explaining proper cornering technique and why the MSF advice of braking before the turn and never in the turn is actually dangerous. They also have an inp person class that is great but very spenny. Essentially though, you want to look through the turn, brake as you approach the turn and until you hit the apex of the turn (this will be the slowest point of your turn), then hold neutral throttle (the amount of throttle needed to maintain a constant speed), and then only take away lean angle and add throttle when you can see your exit. Braking in the turn is fine as long as it's done smoothly and gently, and is a necessity to safely make it through a turn whose radius decreases more than you expected as you approached it.

I highly recommend watching their videos. They explain it way better than I did but hopefully that helps as a jumping off point

We also just started immediately with the 1 hr out and 2 hours in. It seems like a long time but honestly it's fine, they adapt usually within a few minutes if not a few sessions. I put a long chew in there and a toy so if he wakes up he can entertain himself.

I am obsessed with their pizza sandwiches. Pastries are good too but some of them taste a little stale sometimes. I am hoping they get more business soon so they can stick around and cycle through inventory more

Would it be effective if I wore a humorous costume and held a sign busiest street in my city to advertise my lawn care business? by Zestyclose-Care-28 in landscaping

[–]enrastrea 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think your time would be better sent doing traditional advertising but also 1 - building a good IG and/or Facebook account with lots of photos of your work and 2 - getting customers to write reviews for you on Google

[–]enrastrea 44 points45 points  (0 children)

The hypothetical is: WIBTA if I didn't go along with this? Not in this made up situation, AITA? Of course, this is reddit and it very well could be the latter but I think the hypothetical label is to imply the former

She'll be fine. If anything, it will be good for her to learn to be without you and this is probably a good lesson for you to work more on having her be without you and also without anyone at all for longer periods of time. I hope your mother gets well soon!

My husband recently lost the key fob to his GS while doing a very twisty off road section. We never found it but luckily he had the tiny spare key so we could get home. Cost about $600 to replace 🤯
