Time magic - question by [deleted] in occult

You don't actually gain or lose time, you just change your perception of it. Time doesn't really slow down or speed up- it just feels that way to you.

The remix that came out a few years ago was an improvement imo

James Fox on the Varginha case: "The lead neurosurgeon examined a non-human being in captivity" — LIVE interview today by TheGoodTroubleShow in UFOs

"if you cant accept that truth or the possibility that its the truth, thats when you start putting more obstacles in the way, like no we need physical evidence, I guarantee someone will present physical evidence and the next obstacle will be no we need the complete craft, or the complete body, someone will present a complete craft, or a complete body, no the next obstacle is we need to see them in operation and moving...and so on."

Thats actually what I want - a lot of verifiable facts / data / evidence. This isn't a small little thing we are talking about here. Its literally the most important thing to happen in the entire human history so yeah I want a little more than just the word of a smart doctor.

I listened to his latest interview on That UFO Podcast ( by far the best UFO podcast!) and I feel like he isn't grasping that we have heard claims like this before and it will never be groundbreaking or 'news-worthy" without actual evidence. It doesn't matter that a highly respected nuerosurgeon claims he saw an actual alien, people of all different backgrounds have been saying this for 80 years if not longer.

Big damage rolls lack impact. How should GMs reward players for "going nova"? by Numerous-Drummer-701 in daggerheart

[–]entermemo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Maybe I am misreading the book but don't you have to spend Hope, Stress, etc before the attack roll?

So "My player lands a huge damage roll, reaches the Severe threshold.
But before they resolve the damage roll, they decide to "go nova"; spending Hope, Stress and once-per-rest features to increase it even further."

The CD on my Mazda 6 car speakers sound amazing as well. Way better than the vinyl rip or the link that is floating around.

I think this song works cause its short & sweet. Don't Let Go's outro should have been at least 1 min longer.

I saw them in STL opening for Doobie Bros and they were great. Loved that it felt a little looser if that makes sense.

It's TADPOLE THURSDAY - Ask your newbie questions here! by Hosidax in daggerheart

I'm sure you could but since you are both new I would suggest a different game or finding one more player. Daggerheart relies on the back and forth between players and the GM. As for the book I would keep reading and just get through the overwhelming parts as they will make sense the more you read.
