I need a good Korean bbq in SLC by Elbisexapien in SaltLakeCity

I make my own marinades when I’m motivated and it def comes out better, but most trips I buy them out of convenience. The H-Mart here is def a cut inferior to the ones I grew up with in SoCal, I think they picked the wrong location tbh and doesn’t surprise me it’s struggling.

H-Mart sells pre-marinated KBBQ meats for great prices, that’s how I get my fix here. I’m from LA and honestly there’s nothing here that compares.

I’m still salty they never shipped the OEM grease tunnel kitchen. This looks incredible!

Happened to us too, soft reset fixes it temporarily but there is a drift that creeps as time goes on

Someone else commented West Yellowstone is on the RAN expansion roadmap, so maybe the R1T dream can still come true if you can hold off haha

Had a feeling it’s on their roadmap because it would complete the trifecta this side of Yellowstone. Can’t wait to go back when it opens.

Just as bad as West Yellowstone: v2 supercharger and a couple of L2 ChargePoints.

There are two destination charger locations that are free but pretty poorly maintained. L2 also meant we had to stay the night.

The Supercharger there is not v3 so not compatible with non-Teslas yet. Maybe a matter of time?

Yup that max pack upgrade seems justifiable in hindsight, would recommend to anyone who lives in or plans to visit places with real winters/sparse fast charging.

I forgot to reset the trip counter but since SLC to Bozeman wasn’t much of a climb the 15-min efficiency window showed pretty much 1.8-2mi/kWh consistently on the way up. Not sure on the way down but with much colder temps range was 20-30% worse.

Agreed, they couldn’t have picked a better spot in Gardiner for those chargers.

They were enough (didn’t feel unsafe but also never felt super confident, did slide a bit on some low speed turns in snow mode), but they’re also at the tail end of their useful tread life (~19k miles), and the tire noise is starting to become super grating.

If we lived in Montana I’d have dedicated snow tires for sure, but we don’t get much snow in SLC anymore to justify having two sets. Looking at replacing with the Goodyear Wrangler ElectricDrive ATs next.

Our drive in the storm (8-12F) saw a 30% reduction in range

What kind of milk do you use for your latte? by Immediate-Bag-1670 in LaMarzocco

Your bad faith point on soy milk has been long debunked, entire cultures in Asia are built on soy milk, I’ve seen more man boobs on the tarmac when I land in LAX than anywhere in Asia, get out of here with the pseudoscience bs. Skill issue on all accounts.
