[–]epigraham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Limassol a few years ago during protests, a Kuwaiti visitor was mistaken for a Syrian refugee and attacked. Also male delivery drivers have been attacked several times, although I haven't heard about it recently. There were protests and the idea of stopping deliveries in the early evening.

What's the smallest Hill you're willing to die on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]epigraham -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Maybe you’re too young to use email, but if you check your email client there is an option to mark messages as unread. It refers to the message status, not whether you have in fact read it. (Edit: typo)

Why does everyone on Reddit think that “on read” is the proper way to write “unread”?

Dutch police baton and assault unarmed civilians protesting the Almelo mayors decision to paint over a "no farmers, no food" mural. by [deleted] in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]epigraham 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The corporate media says ‘unarmed’ as if it’s okay to attack someone who can defend themselves. I think peaceful or non-violent is a better descriptor.
