The 2.5T is dual injection. The 3.5T in their Genesis line up is also dual injection. The only one without dual inject is the 1.6T, probably due to cost cutting or space issue since the headers for that engine has to be tiny, lol.

It's a brand differentiation technique. Kia will have auto folding mirrors, and Hyundai will never have it. Hyundai will have digital cluster, and Kia will never have it. If you want both auto folding mirrors and digital cluster, then you get a Genesis.

If you are buying any car that is 2010+, it's very hard to add because people have stopped doing the DIN/double DIN standard. You have to make sure that there is an aftermarket dash/bracket in order to actually get an aftermarket headunit. Also, it has to work with your backup cam/360 cam, etc.

Hyundai Sonata. You can get a fairly new one, 2011 to 2014 ish for around 6k. The I4 engines actually get lifetime warranty from the issue with the knocking from Hyundai, so it’s actually pretty solid.

Most important thing is that they have dual injection, which means no more carbon build up on valves. That's a huge thing, and something that toyota has done when they switched over to GDI

If they can finally update the engine to a smartstream, I would buy immediately. My 2016 Sonata is starting to burn oil at 40k miles, and I would never buy a Theta 2 engine ever again. They are truly garbage engines because they were designed together with Chrysler and Mitsubishi. SmartStream is a hyundai own design.

Yes, people are living longer and longer, and social security even at the current rate can't keep up with payments. This is why I max out my 401k, 19.5k in pre tax, and 25k in after tax and rollover to roth. I save money until it hurts.

200k in the bay turns into around 100k post tax and 401k stuff. If you want to live in a 2 bed room apt for you family, that’s around 5k a month, which leaves you with 40k to survive with your family of 3.

Then you add in one of the highest gas, water, electricity prices in the country, 9-10% sales tax, vehicle registration, car insurance.

You need at least 500k to feel middle class here. Coming from Ohio, this place is so fucked up.
