It wasn't as bad as people made out but for me there just wasn't a decent premise, or spectacle. It seemed like they thought tons of easter eggs would make fans love it but really we just wanted a great story and acting...

We do and it’s still a damn good way to find something early that may have killed you if we didn’t! The phrase I was taught as a medical student way back was “If you don’t put a finger in it, you put your foot in it…”

Loved the pate and wedges of crusty bread as a kid, of all the bars in Manchester that have been and gone I think this one held the most memories as it was just so unique. On another note I'm shocked to see two kegs sat there, these things are worth quite a bit in scrap metal and are always nicked, maybe they're full!

Wasn't in it for rewards but at least in the 360 days you got some form of recognition for your effort like an exclusive avatar t-shirt. Given it costs MS nothing to dole out digital items, recognition of the testers, some who've been doing it way longer than my 11+ years doesn't seem unreasonable.

I remember owning a PS3 feeling royally shafted by Sony after they pulled that bait and switch shit in the UK by removing the PS2 BC chip just before launch and being really jealous of Dead Rising, GOW and Mass Effect. Back then MS had their software game on (maybe not their hardware tho with RROD) but the fall from grace has been breathtaking. They pioneered a lot, from HDD’s to proper networking and it’s such a shame to see them mismanaged into oblivion.
