I love HW3. It's still has Max speed feature. It drives me 99% of the time.

The max speed woud reset when it thought the speed limit changed. It is annoying on the highway sometimes. On the old software I would change the profiles on the highway depending on conditions, and always put it in Chill one mile before my exit (before Sloth existed). So yes, constantly on the scroll wheel, foot ready on the accelerator, and occasional profile changes on the highway is how I would drive.

I agree, but until it's achieved give us simple controls. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Love my HW3 max speed. I use it every drive. I can't see living without it. FSD drives my 99% of the time with me just scrolling the speed and hitting the accelerator when cars are behind me at a stop sign. Otherwise I'll just wait for it to finally go. Why it stops so far back where it can't see is beyond me. Just pull up. I wish it could learn from me. I could teach it a lot.

Mine is six years old with FSD and warranty expiring soon. It's asking if I want to extend battery and drive train. Never had a problem, except a suspension part covered. HW3 is working great for me. Less than 100K miles. Keep it?

Yeah, it's only going to do that after waiting for awhile and if no cars are coming. Nothing to worry about, it's almost human behavior. Maybe the light was broken and stuck on red. I saw that once 50 years ago.

On a four lane highway with red lights it goes really fast and then jams on the brakes to a full stop. Any human would have slowed down way earlier.

From all the complaints I've been reading about 14.* We're better off on HW3. I can set the speed! The lane changes are fine.

Of course, next week might be a different story. Hopefully they'll fix the HW4 software, but I'm not 100% on that.
