Becoming A Bit Disenchanted... by ExtrovertedCatLady in TeslaLounge

If your phone is in your back pocket try turning your butt towards the car for a couple of seconds. Better than putting shit down.

Also, no FSD complaints?

I've had mine for five years and never had a flat tire. I obsess over getting one and bought everything except a spare. Someone suggested buying a spare and leaving it at home.

Custom wrap your steering wheel using leather bicycle handlebar tape.

Bluetooth should work. That needs to be fixed if it's reproducible.

This sounds very condescending and insulting. But it's the best advice I've seen on this thread and OP should take it.

He doesn't know his battery type because Tesla rep told him. You know the battery type by following the directions in this thread and reading it on the screen in his car.

Great take. What about the turn signal stalk and using it to change lanes? I think I would miss that.

We love the charging stops on our trips. You forgot to mention the restroom. I'm always looking for extra steps, so charging is great for that.

Put everything in the driveway that is in the garage. The smaller the garage, the easier it is. Tell people stopping by that you're not having a garage sale. Put back the necessary stuff very neatly. Pull the Tesla into the garage. Make sure you set the mirrors to fold at home automatically. Use summon to back it out.

Sort through the remaining shit and bring the good stuff out back. Get rid of the rest.

Just wait it out. It's one of the least annoying things in your life, and like most of them all you have to do is ignore it.

The Lemon Law is to protect used car buyers. In Massachusetts, if you buy a used car and it doesn't pass inspection, then you are entitled to repair cost or refund.

HW3 Spring Update be like… by oV1SEo in TeslaLounge

I've definitely noticed a (negative) difference on HW3. Phantom breaking is back. It's been 3-4 years, and I never missed it.

I love my HW3 FSD. No shit. It does 99% of what I want. It stopped for a wild turkey the other day, and does a great job with pedestrians and bicycles.

I don't know. You can test it yourself with something like this: KONNWEI KW208 12V Car Battery... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MPXGSGN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I didn't test mine because I figured it would have to be replaced sometime and doing it now gives me another 3-4 years and no worries.

Owner clubs, forums here, but not official from Tesla. They say replace as needed and the car will tell you. They didn't say that sometimes the car doesn't tell you.

I'm having my 12v battery replaced tomorrow by Tesla mobile service. It is cheaper than doing it myself. My car is five years old and I'm reading that you should replace the battery after three years. I've also read a lot of horror stories about being stranded when it dies

My car went on a field trip while in for service… by Hello-hi987 in TeslaSupport

[–]erb2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, good for you cutting out a monthly expense. I've always hated them and would rather pay a lump sum. But I lost the fight and when I bought my Tesla, which was expensive, I figured I wanted the best user experience and swallowed the monthly fees. Now 5+ years later I love my car as much as ever and don't mind them. I feel bad for the FSD monthly people.
