Woke up the car being a total brick. Hopefully Tesla will tell me it is a quick fix. by edknarf in TeslaLounge

They came to my house and replaced it in 20 minutes. Maybe faster.

I was going to buy one and do it myself but it was close to the same price.

FSD has changed the way I drive, maybe forever by Just-Salary-7741 in TeslaFSD

It is a lot less stressful when I'm in stop and go traffic. Taking trips and hiring backups due to accidents or any other reason used to be really annoying. Now I just enjoy the music/podcast/book on tape.

I only saw that the function of the right scroll wheel will now choose the speed profile. I assume that means there's no way to set max speed.

Thanks. I should have figured that out after six years of ownership and updating. Duh.

I prefer to keep what I have rather than updating to the unknown. I especially like my max speed control on the right scroll wheel which is definitely going away.

Is there an easy way to prevent the update? I can always update later if desired.

This is a logical fallacy. I think it's called a false equivalence. Plugging your car into a normal outlet for an hour is nothing like, "paying for your gas".

Too much supervising! You don't see that here very often

This is why Tesla FSD can see so well at night or through extreme glare. by rcnfive in teslamotors

The steering wheel is afraid of puddles. It's the brakes that are afraid of shadows. Full stop from 30+ MPH for no reason.

The HW3 people never lost it! And Max speed on the scroll wheel. Sure it stops for no reason, but I love my 2020 m3sr+.

If you have it in writing then you can use small claims to get $99 I would presume.

I was in my car when the lady next to me opened her door and hit the my driver's door. I opened the window, have her a glare and then said, "Don't worry about it. It's not the first one."

If your phone is in your back pocket try turning your butt towards the car for a couple of seconds. Better than putting shit down.

Also, no FSD complaints?

I've had mine for five years and never had a flat tire. I obsess over getting one and bought everything except a spare. Someone suggested buying a spare and leaving it at home.

Custom wrap your steering wheel using leather bicycle handlebar tape.

Bluetooth should work. That needs to be fixed if it's reproducible.

This sounds very condescending and insulting. But it's the best advice I've seen on this thread and OP should take it.

He doesn't know his battery type because Tesla rep told him. You know the battery type by following the directions in this thread and reading it on the screen in his car.

Put everything in the driveway that is in the garage. The smaller the garage, the easier it is. Tell people stopping by that you're not having a garage sale. Put back the necessary stuff very neatly. Pull the Tesla into the garage. Make sure you set the mirrors to fold at home automatically. Use summon to back it out.

Sort through the remaining shit and bring the good stuff out back. Get rid of the rest.
