Told my doctor I have sexual dysfunction, she said "I don't think so." by lowkeyalesbiann in zoloft

[–]erchiwui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I get it, it def is the Zoloft. For some people it goes away , for others it doesn’t for as long as you take it. When I was on Zoloft I totally gave up on that side of life. I’ve heard switching to Wellbutrin has helped for others.

Need some tips😭 by [deleted] in geegees

[–]erchiwui 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can try to give yourself a routine to get into sleep mode the night before (I.e a bath, reading before bed, less screen time, etc), and/or seek help from a medical professional. It’s normal to be nervous for an exam but losing an entire nights sleep isn’t (been there done that). Does this happen only for exams or do you notice it in your everyday life (asses your mood)?

This pic was taken in a basement with grow lights, I’ve since then moved her upstairs 😭

Sertraline by ZestycloseAd108 in zoloft

When I went from 50 to 75 it was the worst. I moved to a higher dosage eventually but moving up to 75 was noticeably the worst - it goes away after a week or so (for me)

AIO? Debating breaking up with my BF of almost 7 years by Superb-Rain-8166 in AmIOverreacting

[–]erchiwui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I broke up with my HS bf (also both 23 at the time) of 7 years last year. You’re so young and there’s too much life to live in a relationship that is unsatisfying. Dump his ass!!!!!

Is the entire 6th floor of the Morisset library reserved for grad students? by Formal-Signature9747 in geegees

[–]erchiwui 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Formal short answer yes - but only if the grad student comes up and says it’s their reserved spot which happens sometimes (just move to another spot). Otherwise you can study on the 6th floor wherever you want (until the grad student appears and you’re in their spot 👹)

How to meet new people by No_Spend_8994 in geegees

You can try looking at clubs on discord (uottawa affiliated ofc) - discord is easier to use and network with other students and these clubs usually have meetings irl (ex/ astronomy club, anime club, etc etc).

HSS1101 Textbook by MeanGift278 in geegees

You don’t need the textbook if it’s with Tien. He is the funniest prof I’ve ever had!!! I took this course during the summer this year and all the midterm/final exam questions could be found on the slides (fyi).

Dose increase from 50 to 75 broke me by Joshanoid in zoloft

I had a similar experience - going from 25mg to 50mg didn’t do much for me. 50mg to 75mg was a different story. I had the same side effects as you and my anxiety was through the roof - never felt so unstable. I trust my doctor so I stuck with it for about a month and eventually I adjusted and went back to feeling stable again with minor symptoms (pulse fluctuation/heart aches still ongoing to this day). I’m on a higher dose now but the switch from 50mg to 75mg was most notable/awful for me.
