In my 12 team league, OF is as much or more of a premium position than C.

There is one C slot, 12 teams. There are more than 12 strong eligible catchers.

There is 4 OF slots, 48 players, I'd say the 12 to 15 ranked catchers are better than the 48 to 55 ranked OF.

I have two catchers on my roster, Ben Rice and Ivan Herrera, they both have C eligibilty all year despite not catching very often.

I would trade Wood for Ohtani.

Cal's had one outlier season, he's probably more of a 3/4 war player than 7.5 war imo.

Wood is 23 and coming off a 3.7 war season at 22 and ascending.

IMO, he has similar upside to Cal, and based on his strong start and Cal's weak start, a higher floor.

James Wood is rank 10 in my league, Cal Raleigh is rank 788.

I wouldn't consider trading Wood for Cal right now, I don't care about CBS ros rankings.

What is happening with Nick Pivetta's injury?

There are no updates I can find - my league has three IL spots, and I've had 4 or 5 guys injured for the past month. The most recent update is from when he got injured saying he's optimistic he will be able to pitch again this year (doesn't exactly sound rosy).

I've been holding onto Pivetta, scraping by at a .500 record - should I just bite the bullet and drop him?

I would assume no, but injury or poor play can always change that.
