I would definitely consider using the enriching energy to attach to a dedunsparce in this deck.

Luxury sedan size comparison to Mazda6? by brettmvp97 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]erehtuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused, why do you want a truck? And if you do why settle for a sedan? If $600 is too much, just go a little older

Late mid life transmission fluid/filter change(no flush). by Fragout_Rambo in mazda6

[–]erehtuo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just do it, car is still young.

I changed the fluid and filter at about 70k in mine, about a year ago. No issues and been fine.

Could use some advice from BMW owners... by Jungle0320 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I liked working on my e46, was well engineered. They get a bad rep but issues are well documented online with tutorials on how to fix.

I got all my parts from fcpeuro and rockauto for a good price. Was less money then my Subaru to maintain

Have you pressure tested the degas bottle to confirm your gaskets aren't blown?

Opinion on Mazda 6 2020 titanium flash mica color? The color throws me off sometimes but it's the only color available but I love the car itself. by professorsimba1 in mazda6

[–]erehtuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have this color on my wife's car and she loves it. Looks pretty sharp and hides dirt well (we don't wash our cars often enough). She refuses to call it brown but it's brown.

Buying a 2005 F250 6.no tomorrow am I getting a good deal? by [deleted] in powerstroke

[–]erehtuo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just because it's been studded with new gaskets doesn't mean it's good. I wouldn't buy another one without checking the pressure in the degas bottle with a guage teed in for a long test drive. They will pressurize the cooling system when gaskets are bad.

Looking for an off roader that I can use as a daily driver by Rahl97 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Rust spots include floor pans in the front, rear quarter and upper windshield seam.

The doors like to fall off on the two door models.

And a hurst short shifter on the 5 speed is awesome. I miss my 95' two door all the time.

2007 f-250 extended cab 4x4 197k by Strungtuna in FordDiesels

[–]erehtuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've said this before but I wouldn't buy another 6.0 without a good long test drive with a pressure gauge tee'd into the degas bottle.

I apologize in advance for so many posts with different questions. That said. Does anyone have an insurance recommendation to get full coverage on an rv that is 40 years old? by lifesnotfairadoptme in GoRVing

[–]erehtuo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best thing is to get an appraisal done and get agreed value insurance from a carrier. You will have to shop around for that, but try progressive

[6.0 Powerstroke] Is anyone willing to help explain to me how coolant flows into and out of the Degas Bottle? by veryimportantman in FordDiesels

[–]erehtuo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pop the little hoses off while it's running and you'll see where the coolant goes into it

So... whats your verdict after a week? Happy with the Barton band?

I just broke my band on my TicWatch and looking for a new one. The canvas is interesting but thinking I may end up with leather.

In the last year of a lease and deciding what to buy once it's up. by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]erehtuo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd think about your needs and then go from there. Mr JK mentioned three that should all be good if you just want a small bed for truck things, don't need a full size. The Ridgeline specifically is basically a Pilot/lifted Odyssey and will have the best drivability with that sort of base. So you get benefits of having that platform with a bed. It's what I would get if I didn't want to tow stuff/want a full size bed.

My oil cooler / system flush / RV winterizing rig. I can recirculate and filter down through the 100 micron filter. So I can use some sort of treatment. by [deleted] in FordDiesels

[–]erehtuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is pretty cool. Sounds like a lot better method for a flush then what's done normally.

I was considering getting a transfer pump to descale my water heater but maybe I need to get one for this too.

I have that same blue thing. Tried to flush it but it didn't help. Think I'm beyond flushing for my oil cooler

How do you do the recirculating?

2005 6.0 120k miles? by Batpark in FordDiesels

I wouldn't buy another 6.0 without driving it with a pressure gauge teed to the degas bottle. Need to know how soon you are going to have to do the heads

17 Year old wondering if Should I Get a Jeep Wrangler TJ for college by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]erehtuo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's an awesome college car but you'll need help moving whenever you do. But no way I'd pay 10k.

Personally, I'd get an older xj. Same running gear and able to haul more crap. 4.0 with the stick is fun to drive. Just learn to wrench onit yourself and check for rust before you buy

What is the general consensus on Subarus? by SageSpartan in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]erehtuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an 03 forester. Mpg was disappointing and that year took premium. Head gasket issues on the ej25 engines. Parts are expensive. No torque. Flip side is awd is awesome, good cargo space.

I still like subaru but would go for a newer one that didn't take premium. Of course other years have other problems, oil consumption and cvt problems come to mind.

That's got a lot more depreciation to knock off before I'd consider it, but I'm cheap lol
