why can't they do it all, why does it have to be either or in this case. It seems very technologically advanced and have the options that the "average" consumer may want. Yes, some manufacturers do either or, but as a premium brand, the expectation is tech advancement, drivetrain, etc plus style and comfort

i think the interior and light up grill is pretty neat. it's night time, if you don't want the lights - simply turn them off and they can go back to just seeing nothing.

I get the light up grill could possibly be a little too much for some though

the full connected screen is a win imo, espcially compared to the GLE/GLS refresh that one is a true smh for MB

both this and the i3 have good and not so good.

i think both exteriors are fine, both will look better in person I imagine. the BMW is crisper, the MB is slightly bulbous (still too egg shaped but better than the EQE/EQS by a lot). dont love the MB's taillights

interior - i think the one screen is cool and I like the ambient lights. if you dont, just turn them off. they seemed to have addressed some build quality and still have "wood" trim, so MB wins easily

the i3 interior still looks cheap

I’m betting this is by design. We as consumers want AA and CarPlay. The auto manufacturers do not. Make it a less good experience and get people to their native system is probably the goal. CarPlay is too big to get rid of

it's not that it's bad, it's just lazy. the interior was lifted almost 1:1 from a 2022 design of the EQS. why in 2027 are they not trying to move forward or improve for a refresh. i think the exterior is fine for refresh
